Connect Gmail or Google Calendar

Open Settings → Connectors, choose Gmail or Google Calendar and follow the Google sign-in steps. You choose which access to allow. Sending and changes are optional; each email or event still needs your approval in Chale.

Turn a Google connection off

Open Settings → Connectors → Gmail or Google Calendar → Turn off. Chale revokes its access and deletes the copies kept for that connection.

You can also remove Chale from your Google Account permissions. To remove Chale’s saved copies too, turn the connection off in Chale or delete your account.

Check phone permissions

For the phone’s calendar, contacts or location, turn on the connector in Chale and allow the permission on your phone. If you declined it earlier, open your phone’s Settings, find Chale and review its permissions.

You can turn a connector off whenever you like. This stops new reads; information already in your chats remains until you delete it or your account.

Delete an account

Open Settings → You → Delete account, or email us if you cannot access the app. See what is deleted and how to request it.
